Pulverised Coal an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
Coal, pulverized to 65% passing 200 mesh, was then pumped to the bunkers in the boiler house where it fed 11 Stirling Wtype boilers generating 360,000 lb/h of steam at 420 psi/725°F (250°F of superheat). The boilers were vertically (down) fired with each unit using 16 fishtail burners.
