The bodies of two children were on Saturday recovered after they drowned in an abandoned Galamsey pit at Boete in the Obuasi East District of the Ashanti Region. The deceased, who have been identified as 11yearold Bashiru Ibrim and 13yearold Nurudeen Sufian, had gone to the site to swim when the incident happened.
